Jaxon had a blast from the minute we put him in the pool. Of course he had to try and drink the water:) And ignore the hat, it's a little small, but we had to put something on him to keep him from pulling out his earplugs.

Fourth of July Weekend

Well it was definitely sad not spending Fourth of July in Missouri this year. We missed all of our family and friends, and I was homesick! I was so excited when Dad called to say he was coming down, and bringing a horse for Jax. Thank goodness the horse was just made from a tire! It made up for missing the Mark Twain Lake Rodeo for the most part, with a little help from a Kenny Chesney concert in Nashville!

It's been a long weekend of sickness around the Minton household. Matt and I caught a lovely stomach bug and surprise, Jax has another ear infection and a bursted ear drum:( It's probably time for tubes next. Jax kicked off the weekend by falling off the couch. He cried for a few seconds and then he was over it. I wish I could say the same for myself. But apparently since he fell before he turned one, he will live a long life according to Aunt Kenzie and an old wives' tale. That helps a little:)

Jax fell asleep, finally!! It just happened to be while he was jumping in his jumper!
