Jaxon is popular on the weekends. Matt's Granny and Grandaddy, and Aunt Nice and Cousin Kaleena drove all the way from Paducah to see him! It was great to see them, too bad we don't get to see them more often.

Four Generations!

Jaxon's first bottle

Matt gave Jax his first bottle, and he loved it! Little did Matt know, this picture was proof that he could now get up at 3 a.m. and help feed the little piggy. Look at his big eyes and death grip on the bottle, he couldn't drink it fast enough.

We knew from what Matt's parents said when he got his first bath in the hospital it was not going to be a pleasant experience. We were not looking forward to it at all. Just like Matt's dad said he didn't cry, he screamed!

Jax's favorite thing to do is take a nap with Daddy. He likes to wrap himself around Matt like a tree frog.

Finally leaving the hospital

We were so excited about finally leaving the hospital we had Jaxon dressed and ready long before we got the go ahead to leave. We wanted a few pics of him in the outfit Matt wore home from the hospital when he was born, but Jax got fussy. We changed him as fast as we could into his cow sleeper but he was still grumpy. For some reason he looks like a rapper in most of his pictures, which of course Matt thought was hilarious.

With all of Jax's visitors he felt loved and spoiled right from day one! We were so excited to see everyone, especially when my mom and dad each drove through the night from Missouri the minute they got the phone call we were on our way to the hospital.

When we got to the hospital it was a zoo; we got the second to the last delivery room. There were so many babies born that night, thanks again to the new moon.

Jax's arrival!

Everyone bet Jax would come early, especially with the change in the moon. But we were disappointed when we found out at a doctor's appointment on the 11th, that he would take longer than we thought to get here. So imagine our surprise when we got the call from our doctor to come in just two days later. The ultrasound showed the amniotic fluid was low and we were going to induce! He was not cooperating since he was still in a breech position so just an hour or so later he was born by c-section.
