Jax and his new Missouri friends

We were happy to show Jax off to everyone we could on Thanksgiving, which was hard since we were basically only home for one day:( Thank goodness some of our friends live close to my Mom's. Next time we will have to stay longer so Jax can meet more of our friends and maybe even his future girlfriend Charleigh!
Mary Beth and Amy feeding Jax and picking on his ears:)

Mike trying to revive Jax from his milk coma.

Doug came by Mike and Cindy's so he could check out Jax! That means a lot for a single guy to give up a Friday night to hang out with a baby:)

Jax and Aunt Tami, with her pretty pregnancy glow! She and Eric are expecting a little sister for Katelyn in February!

The Baumgartner's!

We were excited for Casey and Cody to meet Jax and to see our best friends!
Casey and Jax:)

Me and Cindy! Jax is in another milk coma:)

Mike and Jax. He is rockin some awesome socks just for your enjoyment! (He was working on their new barn all day in the cold.) I lied and said I would cut them out of the picture, but I live 500 miles away so he can't hurt me:)

Mike and Cody, see I cut out the socks in this pic:) Don't be mad Mike.

Cody and the incredible sleeping baby!
Cody after shooting Matt in the eye. It may look easy, but it took FOREVER! It's only our newest, coolest, most funniest game ever! Cody, I can't wait to play again!!!

Thanksgiving with the Holmes'

It was so great to see my family! It was the first time any of them saw Jax, so he was the main attraction this year, instead of Aunt Becky's cheesecake. My Aunt Beth, Uncle Bob (the greatest crib builder ever) and cousin Chrissy were even in from Colorado. It's a miracle you could get us to all be quiet long enough to take the picture:)

Umm, Aunt Beth is "watching" Jax. Isn't she the best sleeping babysitter ever!?! Call me if you want her number so she can watch your kids:) Just kidding, Love you Aunt Beth!

Aunt Becky and Cousin Shannon trying to show Aunt Beth up by being awake to watch Jax:)

Me and Stuart, my Uncle Joe and Aunt Janet's son.
I miss you everyday Jan!!!

Visiting Grandma and Grandpa Lane

My Grandma Lane recently suffered a heart attack, so I wanted more than anything to see her and my family for Thanksgiving. It meant the world to me when Matt said he could take off work so we could go. Too bad it was such a short trip, but hey I had to go back to work sometime!
Four generations:)

My Grandpa Lane (AKA the Leprechaun to some family members, you know who you are!)

Paducah visit

We stopped in Paducah on the way home to visit with Granny and Grandaddy, Nise and David, and Kaleena and Coy. It's the first time in awhile we've both actually been able to eat at the same time. But, we got too distracted by Aunt Nise's lunch to remember to take pictures of Kaleena, Coy, David or Nise:(

Look how patient Granny is being while she waits to hold Jax. You can tell part of her wants to snatch him up since she hasn't seen him for two months:)

Thanksgiving with Dad and Karen!

Dad is already trying to teach Jax to juggle:)

Dad, Karen and her sons worked like crazy to get the Christmas lights up for Jax. It looked great, but I forgot to take a pic until the next morning:( He loved them, even when they were just plugged in the wall and hung over his head. Maybe if I hang some in the bedroom he will sleep longer!!!

GO TIGERS!

Jax is trying to get his "Tiger" face ready for the game this Saturday against the Sooners! Grandpa Bill has been waiting for him to fit in this outfit since he brought it to the hospital when Jax was born:)

Baby bottle holder

Jax got very creative trying to hold his own bottle by using his knee. Matt thinks Jax is a genius, I didn't have the heart to tell him it was by accident:)

Granna pics:)

Post pregnancy hormones make you do weird things like cut your hair off, which I said I'd never do. I'm still in a little bit of shock. Matt had to take a picture. Jax's outfit says crabby and it fits us both!!!!

Jax had his first set of shots today:(

And this little piggy goes to the doctor...
Jaxon had his 2 month appt today and he now weighs 12 lbs. 5 oz. He was giggly and smiley the whole time until the nurse came in and gave him his shots:( Matt had to hold his legs down, and I turned my head and cried of course. Poor baby.

Chillin out in his bouncy seat after his nap, rockin his bandaids.

Tummy time... lasted all of 3 minutes.

Notice he's not on his tummy anymore, he was not having it. I guess he was feeling defiant after listening to his Heavy Metal Baby Lullaby CD from Aunt Veronica.

Dad and Jax watching TV

Jax's First Rodeo

Matt's friend Sean Prater was entered in the Great Lakes Circuit Finals In Louisville. It seemed like the perfect time to introduce Jax to his first rodeo. Some people might consider him a late bloomer, but at 8 weeks old he took it like a champ:)
[Matt's words but he's too lazy to type...]

Jax was happy to see Aunt Kenzie and Uncle Brandon:)

Sometimes I could just cry at the thought of how lucky I am to have such a healthy and beautiful baby boy.

I'm sure my hair stylist could cry at how bad my highlights have grown out.
[I know my friends noticed:)]

Jax chillin like a villain

See he likes baths now, I promise we weren't torturing him before:(

He has a pot belly here, its all the rage in Edmonson County
